Custom Landscape Plan FAQ's

What is your coverage area?

Oasis provides Landscape Architect services throughout the United States from USDA plant zones 4-11.  We are registered with the states of Florida and Ohio to provide signed and sealed plans if necessary.  We also have experience working in other states while in cooperation with other Landscape Architects to make sure everything is compliant accordingly. If you are located in the Central and Southwest Suncoast Florida Area, we have face to face meetings at the project site in addition to Zoom/Teams online meetings.  

What if I don't see a custom landscape plan Package that has exactly what we are looking for?

We can provide a custom scope of services contract if needed.  Please go to our Contact page and fill out the form.  

are you available during construction to answer questions?

Absolutely!  We would be happy to assist you with design questions that arise during construction.  The unique nature and complexity of these services will require a fee at our regular hourly rates per the contract given.

my local government/hoa is requiring signed and sealed plan?

We have state registered landscape architects and decades of experience in working with government agencies and homeowner associations to make communities and homes that are compliant and up to the client's expectations.

3-D Perspective Plan FAQ's

What do you mean by schematic?

Our schematic plans are digital drawings done in 3-D format and have a sketch quality to them.  The schematic plans will all be in color, have scaled figures (people, plants, furniture, etc.) for size referencing, and displayed from different perspectives on your site so you can see what they would look like from different angles.

What is a .mp4 video?

The .mp4 video is a digital animation of your site in 3-D.  The .mp4 file format is the most broadly supported video file type and can be played in a web browser, in many video programs like Windows Media Player or Mac in VLC and on many hardware devices as well. 

What benefit is there in having 3-d perspective plans?

Many times having scale references in a plan are helpful for visualization and it provides the clients with a better understanding of what the space will look like which informs changes to the typical 2-D plans.  Catching things early in the design process makes for a better outcome during the construction phase of the project.
